Situated in the centre of Penrith, with its independent shops and restaurants, just a short drive into the Lake District National Park and less than two hours by train to Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Situated just off the main high street there is a nice selection of restaurants, independent shops and coffee shops all just a short walk away. Locally you can walk alpacas, enjoy an exhibition or film on offer at the Rheged Centre or why not head to the Lake District and have a day out walking or take a trip on one of the Ullswater Steamers. The local area has so much on offer but if you fancy a trip over the Border then head to Glasgow or Edinburgh from the local train station, you can have a fabulous day out shopping or looking around the museums and art galleries.

As you enter the house into the hallway, you will find the cosy lounge with a Smart TV and comfy sofa’s to enjoy a takeaway and a movie after a day out. Down the hallway, you will find a bright kitchen that has a nice breakfast area. There is a gas oven and electric hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment. Completing the ground floor is a shower room with a shower and WC. As you head upstairs to the first floor from the kitchen you will find two bedrooms, a double and a twin zip-and-link (which can be made into a super-king-size on request).

There is a small front garden with seating where you can sit out on a nice evening or enjoy a morning cuppa. There is off-road parking to the front of the house for one car. There is additional parking to the rear of the house (charges apply).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Small towns like Ambleside, Windermere, Hawkshead, Bowness-on-Windermere and Glenridding all make for great bases from which to relax and unwind between sojourns into the fantastic natural landscapes of the Lake District National Park. Wildlife and bird lovers can spot all kinds of lesser spotted species in situ, and walking trails reveal some of the very best vistas within English borders. To embellish the experience, you can enjoy some of the country’s cosiest pubs and restaurants, many found in picture-perfect locations.
