The light and bright lounge is a peaceful spot to unwind at the end of a busy day, sipping a glass of wine on the comfortable sofa or curled up in an armchair next to the electric fire watching the Smart TV. Moving into the kitchen, you’ll discover a delightful space complete with electric oven and gas hob, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. You’ll also find a mini freezer and a handy washing machine in the utility room. The breakfast bar is the perfect place to perch with a morning coffee, reading the newspaper or flicking through a guidebook. The separate dining room has a table for two so you can enjoy a romantic dinner together. Alternatively, on a warm evening, dine in the conservatory, looking out over the garden. This is also a lovely spot to relax with a good book on a lazy afternoon. At night, wash away the day in the beautiful bathroom which has a bath, shower, and WC, before climbing into the plump double bed in the charming bedroom, which has lovely views of the garden.

Outside, discover an immaculate enclosed garden laid to lawn, backed by lush trees to create a quiet and secluded area. The Lake District National Park is a superb choice for a holiday. If you love nature and the great outdoors, the Lake District is one of the UK’s most beautiful holiday destinations. Taking up the lion’s share of the north-western county of Cumbria, the region has been popular with visitors since Victorian times, and it’s the only place to find mountains in England. Peace and tranquillity characterise the wonderful Lake District, with 16 lakes, including England’s longest and deepest, there is much to see and do. Visit Coniston Water, Ullswater, Wast Water and Windermere for just a taste of what you can see in the Lake District National Park.

Small towns like Ambleside, Windermere, Hawkshead, Bowness-on-Windermere and Glenridding all make for great bases from which to relax and unwind between sojourns into the fantastic natural landscapes of the Lake District National Park. Wildlife and bird lovers can spot all kinds of lesser spotted species in situ, and walking trails reveal some of the very best vistas within English borders. To embellish the experience, you can enjoy some of the country’s cosiest pubs and restaurants, many found in picture-perfect locations.
