Or a short walk in the other direction will bring you to the town centre of Windermere with its own selection of shops, restaurants and supermarkets. During the day, head down to the shore of Lake Windermere, take in the beautiful views before joining a tour of the lake via the steamboats or if you prefer, hire some Kayaks and have your own mini adventures.
On entering the property, you firstly enter the grand open-plan kitchen/diner with large bay windows which are themselves a suntrap. The kitchen is a cook’s dream with space a plenty and everything you need to cook up a storm with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine and tumble dryer, along with a dining table and chairs.
