Beautiful location and home! But: no spare toilet paper, 5 pm check in, no tea or coffee, no hot water in kitchen and one bathroom sink. Ensure you get access details before arrival, and take food.

We absolutely loved this holiday home! It was large, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. It is a little out of the way from the large towns, but it was peaceful and very relaxing. The grounds themselves are truly stunning, and we enjoyed breakfast or late drinks in the green beside the babbling brook. We plan to book again!

Gorgeous place! The surrounding gardens were beautiful with a stream and plenty of outdoor seating. The house was well presented and decorated with lots of space. Although in a fairly remote situation, the apartment was well equipped, well furnished and the surroundings extremely pleasant. My husband has mobility issues but had no problems at all. We would certainly recommend to our friends

Very well equipped apartment. The journey in and out if you drive up North is on a narrow and windy road, not for the faint hearted. Aside from that, we had a wonderful stay and there were many nice decorative touches by the owner. The kitchen was the best, and had everything we needed!

A very comfortable and spacious cottage with a well equipped modern kitchen and two good bathrooms. It was lovely to light the log fire in the evening (Thank you for a full log basket). We enjoyed being able to walk straight out onto the fells - lots of beautiful walks and views surround the cottage.
