This was a fabulous place to stay. Clean with everything you needed. Location couldnt have been better - right on the Cumbria way. Highly recommend the ice cream in the flock inn. 5 stars.

An excellent cottage in an excellent location. Myself, my wife, two sons (24 & 28) and dog visited for a week. We went to Honister Mine (to do Via Ferrata, Mine Tour and cafe), Ghyll Scramble (with Keswick Extreme), Escape Room (with Kong Adventures) and cafe just around the corner (where we also got some local lamb), as well as climbing a few of tRead morehe smaller local fells. Kiln Howe is in a great location for walking with severel footpaths in the immediate vicinity. there are two hotels opposite but we found that The Langstrath Inn a mile down the road suited us there do a very reasonable Sunday Roast. The bus service into Keswick is frequent so this cut down on car usage.
