Nearby is Esthwaite Water, a fantastic fishing lake which also inspired Wordsworth. Ambleside, Coniston, Grizedale and Grasmere are within easy reach, and Windermere and Bowness are a short ferry ride away. On entering this attractive cottage, the flagged hallway takes you into the cosy and traditional lounge where you relax with TV, DVD, and charming views. Heading into the kitchen with two windows overlooking the garden, you will find everything you may need including oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. Exploring the ground floor further, you will find the airy and light garden room with dining table. With delightful views of the pretty garden, this is a perfect place for a special meal. Going up a couple of steps you will find a quaint bathroom complete with hand-held shower and WC. Heading upstairs you will find three comfortable bedrooms, all of which enjoy garden views. There’s a comfy double bedroom, and two cosy singles. There is also an additional WC.
Stepping outside, you can relax at the end of the day in the delightful enclosed garden, complete with patio area and garden furniture. There is a secure garage shared with the owners, which is ideal for storing bikes or muddy boots and walking gear. Private off-road parking is available for two cars.
