Tucked away on a secluded private estate, this picturesque property is surrounded by peaceful grounds. The inspiration behind Arthur Ransome’s Swallows and Amazons, Coniston Water offers a range of pursuits from leisurely lakeside strolls to motorboating, paddleboarding and cruises on the Coniston Launch. Just 5 miles away, the village of Coniston is home to a Ruskin Museum and no less than four pubs, great for enjoying a hearty meal after a long day on the water. Meanwhile, more amenities can be found in the market town of Ulverston, 8.5 miles south, which is also home to the Laurel and Hardy Museum. Or, for more adventure, head for Grizedale Forest, 12 miles away, and its Tree Top Adventures, Segways and Go Ape high ropes course.

Inside, this modern apartment is open plan and inviting, with wooden flooring, cool neutral decor and industrial-style lighting, together with original shutters and panelling. Step outside through the French doors onto the delightful private patio, which offers fell-top views and glimpses of Coniston Water. Meanwhile, to the front of the property are beautiful shared grounds, perfect for morning strolls with the dog. Unmarked parking bays are available outside the property.

The cottage itself was absolutely spot on, there was everything in there you could have needed. I take my own cleaning products, pot towels etc but all those were provided if you needed them. It was almost like home from home. It was warm and cosy and you could also use the log burner which was very nice.

Absolutely loved staying here. Such a beautiful apartment that is in a peaceful, beautiful location. Its only a stone throw away from the bottom of Coniston water, which is a beautiful place to drive to in 5 minutes or even walk to, to relax. We absolutely adored our stay at Reflections Lake Side. It was a great location to explore the South Lakes, super dog friendly and within walking distance to coniston water. Lovely location and property however is a part of a complex of apartments, was let down by the fact you could hear the people upstairs and next door, which didnt feel very private. Furthermore despite the rules saying dogs were not allowed on the furniture there was clearly pet hair on the sofa, which was also a let down. However a nice place to stRead moreay for a weekend. This is a really great property, very clean with brilliant facilities. The views are amazing. When i went unfortunately the fan oven had broke, so in place of that the owner had supplied a top of the range air fryer which was really good. 10/10 would go here again. Was such a fantastic place

Beautiful location near lake Conniston. Lovely bright lounge and warm throughout with woodburner if needed. Lots of parking and secluded outside area that gets late afternoon sun. Some soft furnishings were looking a bit tired and ready for replacing. We had a lovely holiday as the location is excellent for reaching loads of interesting places.

Fantastic, clean, stylish accommodation. Absolutely everything included to make for a comfortable stay. You could literally move in and stay for good! Very dog friendly and easy to clean up if needed.

The location is close to lake Coniston,nice for an early and late walk, beautiful scenery, very quiet. There are plenty of walks locally. The only downside some people might not like is that there are no shops or pubs nearby

You are greeted by a beautiful view of Conniston lake when you get out of the car, absolutely stunning. The apartment is welcoming and furnished well. All the crockery, utensils you would need during your stay. Lovely grounds, the sheep wandering around.

Me and my partner and two dogs did a short stay what an amazing house and setting .The owner's make you feel at home and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to tour around the lakes . Absolutely would stay again. This apartment is a real gem. The cottage is well quipped with everything you need. Your in driving distance to Windermere,Grasmere, Kendal and Coniston Lake is within walking distance.
