This cottage was a lovely base for our holiday, there was plenty of room for six adults and our dogs. The kitchen became the centre of social activities in the evenings as we made good use of the large kitchen table, if we wanted to be more relaxed the seats in the living room were excellent. All three bedrooms were a good size and the beds very Read morecomfortable. Being able to go on nice walks with the dogs without needing a car was a real bonus. We would definitely return next time we are in the Lakes. Hide

It's a lovely cottage in a great location. Ideal for us (two couples with two dogs) and plenty of places to walk nearby. We would definitely consider returning, if only to visit the chippy, which was closed for the duration of our stay.

Charming cottage thats very spacious. 6 of us stayed for a week and we had plenty of space together or to get away from each other of we wanted to. Granddaughters loved all the reading nooks and window seats. Only thing missing from the highly equipped kitchen was a measuring jug , but we survived . Love it staying here

Beautiful old building. We particularly loved the spectacular staircase.
