Walkers will also love this area with endless trails to discover – two dogs are welcome to join you too, so nobody needs to miss out on the fun.

The pretty bedroom is a welcome retreat at the end of a busy day of exploring, ensuring you both feel rested and refreshed in the morning. Outside, French doors lead from the lounge to an enclosed decked area which is perfect for a little al fresco dining on those warmer evenings. A side door also gives access to a peaceful private park.
Wander down to Coniston Water and have a go at paddleboarding and rowing or take a ride on the Victorian steam yacht Gondola. The picture postcard village of Coniston (5.5 miles) is also a great starting point for some super walks and climbs, while the fabulous woodland trails at Grizedale Forest (9 miles) will keep you entertained for hours. Wander around the ancient village of Hawkshead (9.5 miles) and visit the Beatrix Potter Gallery, where you’ll learn more about her work and love of the Lake District.
