Lovely cottage in a fantastic location, hot tub was a god send after a days walking, heating system isn't the best as it is slow to react, and can end up too hot/cold. The log fire was a welcome addition.

Absolutely fantastic. If you want a tranquil, relaxing and private 'home from home', this is the place. We loved that it was away from the main town, but close enough to walk to. The garden, the BBQ, the Hot Tub all added to this already superb cottage. As per the above. I liked the fireplace and the kitchen facilities, the heating system (even if it did not work in the bathroom for one day), the indoor lights, the bathroom. Not too bad, overall. Nice, warm and quite place, with a kind of romantic touch for a couple.

We had a wonderful week in this property. The hot tub was a bonus after a day outdoors in the hills. Beautiful, peaceful location which was an easy 1.5mile walk into Coniston. Only a mile in the other direction was Brantwood where there is a nice restaurant, and the property is also within easy reach of the lake and boating activities.
