Sleeping eight people across four bedrooms, and welcoming one canine family member, this cottage is a haven for those who love to walk or cycle. A shop and pub are also within walking distance, making this a convenient base for your holiday.

Elegantly decorated throughout and furnished in a contemporary yet homely style, this welcoming home has all you need for a comfortable break. In the large lounge/diner, glass bi-folding doors which open out onto the garden, help to create a bright and airy space. A great area for socialising, with its large dining table, this is also a super spot for everyone to relax and unwind on the comfortable sofas. Three steps lead you into the kitchen which is both stylish and modern and equipped with all you need to rustle up family meals or snacks. The four beautifully designed bedrooms each have their own unique feel, with relaxation and rest in mind. Step outside and take a seat in the private gardens and patio area, the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and a little al fresco dining as the sun sets.

Step outside the front door and enjoy one of the many walks and cycle trails on your doorstep. Stroll around the market town of Keswick (2 miles) which boasts many independent shops, eateries and galleries. While there, the impressive Castlerigg Stone Circle is worth a visit, offering panoramic views over to peaks such as Helvellyn and High Seat. Enjoy a boat trip around Derwentwater, 4.5 miles away, while thrill seekers will love trying out the activities at Newlands Adventure Centre (2 miles).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We loved the cottage. Stylish, clean,well equipped, very comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms and a very good location. The slate floor and steps from lounge to kitchen were not toddler friendly and the garden could be made safer. However this is not a complaint, just to advise others with small children . It is a beautiful place to stay.

We had an amazing time the cottage was stunning. Full of comfy seats and beds. The grounds were gorgeous and loved the visits from the pheasants. The cottage was Full of modern gadgets we were so impressed. We cant wait to book again. Thank you for the wonderful memories of such a beautiful place.

This was a great cottage, great location just of the A66 near Keswick which has a great local market Thursday and Saturday, lots of sound walks on your doorstep. Should recommend to anyone. Very well equipped massive garden and barbecue area. Couldnt fault at all 5stars.

Excellent location for walking and eating out. Clean and well decorated. Utility room good for boots and washing. Dog friendly place where she could wander in large rear garden safely.

Super downstairs living space, very well equipped with everything one needed to be able to enjoy a holiday in the Lake District whatever the weather. Comfortable bedrooms and excellent bathrooms, the downstairs shower was especially useful.

This is a lovely new cottage, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Excellent location just two miles from Keswick with a bus stop nearby, and two pubs and a small shop are within walking distance.
