My partner and I absolutely loved our week in this apartment. Spotlessly clean, very spacious and light and airy with high ceilings. Adored the huge French doors with beautiful views of the garden. Lovely location for our honeymoon stay. We had a great time. A wonderful apartment except a few things- Unclean bathrooms and kitchen equipment. Would recommend taking your own toilet rolls and bin bags.

Perfect apartment in a beautiful and quiet location. Lovely outside space on the veranda which is such a sun trap it was warm enough to eat breakfast outside even on chilly days. Comfortable and spacious for two people. We will definitely go back if we can. I recommend taking dishwasher tablets, washing powder for the washing machine, extra toilet Read morerolls and shower gel. Otherwise had everything on hand. Hide

The apartment is in a lovely, quiet location with excellent facilities. It was very clean and we particularly found the mattress on the bed extremely comfortable! The bedding was of very good quality too. The only negative were the hand towels which were more like bath mats! But all in all, we would thoroughly recommend the apartment.

The accommodation and location were beautiful and exactly as the photographs. Well maintained, good linen and bathrobes were nice. Well appointed bathrooms and good kitchen. Wifi was variable at best, but it is a rural occasion so that's understandable. No toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets, milk, soap per bathroom as you might expect from other holiRead moreday lets so suggest taking these. Not the end of the world and still had a fabulous time, but these simple things would help. Hide

The Lake District National Park is a superb choice for a holiday. If you love nature and the great outdoors, the Lake District is one of the UK’s most beautiful holiday destinations. Taking up the lion’s share of the north-western county of Cumbria, the region has been popular with visitors since Victorian times, and it’s the only place to find mountains in England. Peace and tranquillity characterise the wonderful Lake District, with 16 lakes, including England’s longest and deepest, there is much to see and do. Visit Coniston Water, Ullswater, Wast Water and Windermere for just a taste of what you can see in the Lake District National Park.

Small towns like Ambleside, Windermere, Hawkshead, Bowness-on-Windermere and Glenridding all make for great bases from which to relax and unwind between sojourns into the fantastic natural landscapes of the Lake District National Park. Wildlife and bird lovers can spot all kinds of lesser spotted species in situ, and walking trails reveal some of the very best vistas within English borders. To embellish the experience, you can enjoy some of the country’s cosiest pubs and restaurants, many found in picture-perfect locations.
