With a popular pub 2 miles away and the famous Lake Windermere a short drive, this is a great base for exploring the stunning Lake District.

Windermere (2.5 miles) and Bowness (4 miles) both boast an array of shops to explore, as well as the chance to hop on a boat or steamer trip to see the lake from a different perspective. Explore the museums and castles in the historic market town of Kendal (8.5 miles), which is home to the famous mint cake of the same name.
