A lovely, well equipped apartment with a homely feel. Very clean and the welcome pack on arrival with milk, tea, coffee and biscuits was much appreciated. The heating was good and even though the weather wasn't great outside we always returned to a well heated room. Beautiful views, shared gardens and only a few minutes walk to nearest pub.

A totally tranquil space to use as a base for walking. Being pet friendly was brilliant, as we always take our dog away with us. The family of deer living in the grounds were beautiful to see everyday. We'd go back in a heart beat. Loved the peace and quiet.

Beautiful and well appointed apartment in a large converted country house set in large grounds with stunning views. Easy access by car to the jewels of the Lake District although probably a lot busier in the summer months. Good pub within 5 minutes walk offering real ale and excellent food. We will be back!

Great apartment in a good location for the southern Lakes. Really comfy with king size bed, big sofa and armchair and spacious. Everything was just great and a pleasure to stay there. Would recommend as ideal for a couple.

A great apartment in gorgeous grounds. Far enough out of the way but close enough to most attractions. Lots of outdoor space for the dog and many other friendly holiday makers. The local pub is literally a short walk down the path but you have to book in advance as gets pretty booked up with their own residents. We loved our stay there!

The Lake District National Park is a superb choice for a holiday. If you love nature and the great outdoors, the Lake District is one of the UK’s most beautiful holiday destinations. Taking up the lion’s share of the north-western county of Cumbria, the region has been popular with visitors since Victorian times, and it’s the only place to find mountains in England. Peace and tranquillity characterise the wonderful Lake District, with 16 lakes, including England’s longest and deepest, there is much to see and do. Visit Coniston Water, Ullswater, Wast Water and Windermere for just a taste of what you can see in the Lake District National Park.

Small towns like Ambleside, Windermere, Hawkshead, Bowness-on-Windermere and Glenridding all make for great bases from which to relax and unwind between sojourns into the fantastic natural landscapes of the Lake District National Park. Wildlife and bird lovers can spot all kinds of lesser spotted species in situ, and walking trails reveal some of the very best vistas within English borders. To embellish the experience, you can enjoy some of the country’s cosiest pubs and restaurants, many found in picture-perfect locations.
