Attractive detached cottage set in the pretty village of Threlkeld set at the foot of Blencathra with its pubs, golf course and cricket club. Situated in the National Park and just a short drive from Keswick, Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite Lake. This location offers the perfect spot to explore the stunning Lake District, enjoy a day out at Mirehouse and Gardens or tick off some of the many Wainwrights. There are numerous water sport activities locally, as well as indoor climbing and Breweries to visit.
Enter the house into the hallway, which splits to the lower level where you will find a lovely country kitchen with views to die for. The kitchen has stunning original beams and is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. From the kitchen on the lower floor there is a spacious lounge with Smart TV, comfy seating and a dining area to catch up over a nice meal at the end of the day. Headed back into the hallway and up the stairs you will find two bedrooms, a single bedroom which has limited head room due to beams but is so pretty and a large bright gallery style double bedroom. There is a family shower room between the bedrooms on the landing which features a large shower cubicle, and WC.
Heading outside there is a private parking space at the entrance of the house. There is no garden, but the house is surrounded by open countryside for you to enjoy.
