Sleeping two guests and two of their four-legged companions, the nearest pub and shops are 1 mile away, while there’s also an on-site tearoom to enjoy as well.
Enjoying spectacular views of Skiddaw, this quaint and compact ground-floor mews cottage is both cosy and homely. The open-plan studio apartment space has a comfortable lounge area where you’ll be snuggling up in no time after a busy day of exploring, while the gas fire adds some extra warmth on chillier evenings. Whether you’re donning your walking boots or hopping on a bike, there are some superb routes to follow from your doorstep. Meander around the shops in Keswick (3.5miles) before enjoying a meal in one of its restaurants. If you’re feeling adventurous, follow the Jenkin Hill Path (8 miles), the most popular route for those climbing to the summit of Skiddaw. You’ll be rewarded with magnificent views. Head home and reward yourselves with a visit to the accommodation’s on-site tearoom and gallery.
