Fabulous stay in a pretty location. The owners were very welcoming and there was lots of attention to detail in the cottage. It had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Great location and lovely to have garden space for the dog as well as a sunny spot for a late afternoon glass of Rose wine. Dedicated car parking space made it easy to unpack righRead moret outside the front door. We stayed in most evenings having stocked up at the supermarket in Kendal. Hide

Small cottage which was a perfect quiet getaway for us, the kitchen was well equipped but if home is not your thing there are several good pubs serving meals within a few minutes of the property, good access to the southern lakes with both Kendal and Windermere around 15 minutes drive.
