With plenty of comfortable seating, the lounge is an ideal space to sit back, chat about the day over a glass of wine or catch up with a good book. Featuring a handy breakfast bar, the stylishly designed kitchen is fully equipped so you can rustle up your favourite meals. The cottage also has a tastefully decorated and spacious bedroom, with impressive oak ceiling beams, a sumptuous emperor bed, Smart TV and plenty of storage space. There’s also an invigorating shower room with a feature stone wall. Outside, the private and enclosed garden makes a lovely spot for enjoying a morning coffee or watching the sun set over the sea.
St Bees is the most westerly point in northern England and has a bustling promenade, some friendly pubs and restaurants, and a long, sandy pebble beach perfect for rock pooling and swimming. The cottage is close to the golf club, and nature lovers can head along the St Bees Head Heritage Coast to the RSPB nature reserve where you can spot fulmars, razorbills, guillemots and kittiwakes. Whitehaven is a thriving coastal town to the north (4.5 miles), or you can venture inland to explore the north-western corner of the Lake District, with Ennerdale Water the nearest of the lakes (9 miles).
