Loved Upnover Cottage and its quirky layout. It is a great place to go back and relax in after a day of walking. Perfect location to spend bonfire night, much to the relief of our dogs. The welcome treats were very much appreciated.

Lovely, tastefully decorated cottage. Comfortable sofas and bed. Nice and warm with the very responsive central heating. Gosforth is a really great little village with shops, pubs and eateries. We ventured out to some stunning places. Paddle boarding, walking and swimming on/in Wastwater and Crummock water. Walking at Ennerdale, Seascale beach, RavRead moreenglass beach and St Bees beach. A very comfortable and homely residence in a good location for a fine holiday. Very well equipped and spacious in every way except the bathroom which is compact and therefore functional rather than luxurious. We were five adults and three children and all very much enjoyed our stay.

This place is wonderful. Well appointed, comfy beds, lots of space, quirky layout and quiet. The village is lovely with lots of places to eat. A lovely village in a great location. We walked just 2 minutes up the road for a lovely roast dinner. The cottage was really nice, amenities were great. We managed the 1 bathroom okay with 5 adults and a toddler but it might be a struggle if there's more of you. Beds were clean and comfy and the rooms spacious.

Great place to stay. Just a warning that the washing machine won't be accessible so don't rely on that. Otherwise all great and would book again.

Lovely Cottage with enclosed garden which is great for the dogs. Very well stocked kitchen. Very clean and tidy. However only one bathroom which is very small for the amount of guests that are able to stay at the property.

A lovely cottage with plenty of space and in a nice remote location that has a local shop (quite pricey) and a few pubs to choose from. Front room had good facilities allowing us to relax and enjoy films. The Samsung smart TV allows you to connect a USB hard drive. Beds were very comfy and the towel supply was excellent.
