The glorious mountains of Langdale are just over the hill, and with stunning fell views, this is an idyllic and tranquil location. For shops, pubs and restaurants, Hawkshead is a mile away, and Coniston is just a short drive. With breath-taking scenery and activities for everyone, this idyllic spot guarantees a memorable holiday.
After entering via the large shared entrance hall, which is perfect for storing your walking gear, you will find yourself in the single open-plan living area. With exposed beams, a high vaulted ceiling and two galleries at either end, this spacious and welcoming property is a gorgeous base for any holiday. The inviting and cosy lounge area contains a traditional wood burner as well as TV/DVD and video. Moving over to the stylish and elegantly designed kitchen you will find everything you might need including electric oven, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, plus the lovely dining room to enjoy any home-cooked meals together. Heading up to the first gallery, you will find a comfortable seating area offering fantastic views of the valley. The second gallery hosts the comfy double bedroom with king-size bed. You will also find the en-suite bathroom, complete with shower over the bath and WC.
Stepping outside you will find a large garden which is shared with the neighbouring cottage, and is complete with garden furniture and offers lovely views across the rolling countryside. There is ample off road parking available.
