Spent a week here at Newlands Cottage. Perfect place to relax, chill and enjoy the views. Great location to walk from as loads of walks from the front door. Stunning views with Catbells on your doorstep. Clean, modern, ten minute car journey into Keswick. The cottage is on the ground floor so the noise from people upstairs might bother some people. Dog friendly, but there is a farm right next door and it isnt secure, so wandering sheep mean they must always be on the lead.

This cottage is situated in a beautiful location, walking from the door step with a short drive to Keswick and Buttermere. This cottage has so much going for it but it is let down by a poor standard of equipment, 3 dinner plates in a cottage for 4 people was the tip of the iceberg for us, its tired and needs some TLC which wouldnt take the owner much effort, it also didnt come across as having been cleaned after the last occupancy which is disappointing

Great location if you like an away from it all break, stunning views. The apartment is comfortable with everything required to make your stay memorable. The one downside was having an unexpected apartment above us and having to listen to heavy footfall every morning and evening.

Lovely apartment, well equipped and tastefully furnished. We had a very comfortable stay, the only downside being the noise from the people in the apartment above, especially the creaky floorboards. A comfortable cottage with double and twin bedrooms. The kitchen area is compact but fine. The location has beautiful views over the Newlands Valley towards Cat Bells and Maiden Moor. The lack of WiFi was probably good for us although we did find ourselves sitting outside too much (still rather chilly in April) to have a mobile phone signal!
