Welcoming family cottage, just 800 metres from Seascale’s sandy beach where you can relax and hunt for interesting creatures in the rock pools. Far removed from a traditional bucket-and-spade holiday, the western reaches of the Lake District are great for adventure, with sweeping fells and magnificent mountains to explore. In the stunning valley of Wasdale and Eskdale (10 miles away) you will find Scafell Range, Great Gable and Bow Fell. Keen walkers will enjoy walking to the summit of Scafell, but those who prefer a gentle amble will appreciate the footpaths in the local area. If you enjoy water sports, why not try your hand at paddleboarding on Wastwater or kayaking down the River Esk (within 10 miles)?. History lovers will find so much on offer in the local area, from the Viking cross in Gosforth's churchyard to Muncaster Castle, which is 8 miles away, and there’s a wealth of Roman heritage nearby.

This fully refurbished terraced cottage offers a warm welcome with stylish contemporary interior finish and design. The owners live on site, although privacy is assured. As you enter the property you will find the lounge on the right of the entrance, this room has comfortable seating and Smart TV to catch up on your favourite series or relax in the evening watching a good movie. The kitchen leads off the lounge and is bright and spacious with a great dining area and everything you need to rustle up a hearty breakfast or tasty evening meal. The first floor has two bedrooms, a master with Smart TV and sea views as well as a cosy twin bedroom which also has a Smart TV. There is a family bathroom at the top of the landing with a bath to enjoy a good soak after a long walk or a shower for you to jump in after a swim at the beach.

There is a private enclosed garden with seating. Enjoy a glass of your favourite drink on a sunny evening or read a good book while admiring the sea views in the distance.

A well placed cosy cottage for exploring the area. We took a break for the dogs, they loved all the beeches and the sea. Spotlessly clean comfortable cottage. Unfortunately my car got damaged whilst being parked in a designated parking area. I was very disappointed by the response from the holiday company and will not be booking another holiday through them again.
