Cottage very clean and cosy. The road leading to it (3-4 miles) was narrow and busy so not for nervous drivers.

A lovely cottage with great views. Very clean and all the equipment you'll need. Unfortunately there is no WiFi so unable to search for walks or days out in the area. Also no signal to ring either.

This cottage is in a fantastic location and we stayed with friends, with plenty of space for both couples. The layout worked really well, especially having en-suite bathrooms for both rooms. It had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Be aware that this is part of a complex of lets and so sometimes noise from other guest can be heard.

A well equipped cottage in a super location for walking in the Newlands Valley, Buttermere and surrounding fells. A bit noisy at times from the footsteps of the property above, but not a big deal. Wonderful views out front to Catbells, Maiden Moor, High Spy etc, but rather a shame that there wasnt really anywhere outside to sit and enjoy them otherRead more than a picnic bench in the parking area. Not having wifi or phone signal was rather more of an irritation than we had thought that it would be! Hide

Beautiful views but not a very comfortable stay. No service or WiFi inside the cottage so you have to walk outside just to send a text. Maintenance needs to be done here so be cautious of that.

We were delighted with the apartment and it's equipment. Just because we have a canine companion doesn't mean we accept below standard apartments or accommodation.

Great location with outstanding views and walks from the doorstep. Well equipped, modern kitchen and bathrooms that were adequate for a weeks stay. Small issue with the heating that the owner had rectified swiftly. Some noise from the apartment above (footsteps etc), but nothing too bad and certainly didn't cause any issues.
