Perfect location on the edge of the village. Small but met our needs just fine. Comfortable bed, decent shower, very small fridge and freezer. Lovely and warm on arrival, and stayed that way with the open fire blazing. Nice to have a secure garden for the dog and a car park space is essential in Hawkshead too. Would definitely be happy to return, iRead moret ticks a lot of boxes. Hide

Stayed here from the 5th to 12th October 2019. Delightful cottage in a great location for Hawkshead and surrounding areas. The cottage had all you could want for a stay in the Lakes and it was always a pleasure to return after a day out. Would recommend to anyone wanting to be in Hawkshead.

Cottage was clean, comfortable and in a great location being only a couple of minutes from the local COOP, chemist and four pubs. The garden was lovely to eat in on a warm evening as a table and chairs were provided. Not our first visit and it wont be our last - thank you.

A lovely little cottage in a great location. We found the fridge was broken when we arrived which could happen at any time. I walked up to the office which is very close and reported it. We were given an ice box immediately and a new fridge fitted the following day. Brilliant service team!

We stayed at Angel Cottage in Hawkshead at the start of May. The cottage was lovely, and very cosy. We chose it, not only as it looked nice, but the location in the village was excellent and we could take our Boxer dog. Ask the guys in the office when we went to pick up the keys were great, and willing to help should there be any issues. Fantastic location, close to local amenities. Lovely village with excellent pubs and places to walk the dog nearby. The cottage is small but adequate for a couple with a small dog and the garden is pretty with a small lawn and is fully enclosed.

Enjoyed a 4 night stay at this lovely cottage. This is an ideal cottage for 2 people. It was clean and well equipped. The owners have made sure that everything is available for an enjoyable stay and it is one of the nicest we have stayed in. The availability of the parking place at the rear is a real bonus in Hawkshead with parking limited in this Read moresmall village. The garden was lovely, even in January, with bird feeders and a small grassed area. All in all it was perfect for our short break and we thank the owners for making it available for use. The letting agents Hideaways provided a very efficient service and their information book at the cottage was full of valuable information. We would love to stay again when the time comes. Hide

We have been staying in Hawkshead using Hideaways cottages for a good few years now but this was our first time in Angel Cottage as the other properties we have stayed in were not available. We were not disapointed. The cottage was ideal for the two of us. Very comfortable & handy for the village. I have booked this cottage again for next year!!
