A very well appointed and comfortable chalet. Although near the roundabout we could not hear traffic in doors and resident s were very considerate driving in and out. Nice warden too. An ideal place for accessing Keswick and hill walking.

We have stayed at another lodge in this complex but this one was superior in a couple of ways. There was a smart TV and wi fi. The radiators were great at keeping the place warm. The electric shower was great too. The sofa and reclining chair was really comfy. It is great to have a washer dryer with a short cycle to wash those lightly soiled items Read moreespecially in wet weather. The location is great. You are literally on the doorstep of Latrigg. You can also walk into Keswick in 10 minutes. Hide

Couldn't fault the lodge itself. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The only downside is its proximity to the main road and roundabout which could be a problem in the summer when you need windows open.

The Lake District National Park is a superb choice for a holiday. If you love nature and the great outdoors, the Lake District is one of the UK’s most beautiful holiday destinations. Taking up the lion’s share of the north-western county of Cumbria, the region has been popular with visitors since Victorian times, and it’s the only place to find mountains in England. Peace and tranquillity characterise the wonderful Lake District, with 16 lakes, including England’s longest and deepest, there is much to see and do. Visit Coniston Water, Ullswater, Wast Water and Windermere for just a taste of what you can see in the Lake District National Park.

Small towns like Ambleside, Windermere, Hawkshead, Bowness-on-Windermere and Glenridding all make for great bases from which to relax and unwind between sojourns into the fantastic natural landscapes of the Lake District National Park. Wildlife and bird lovers can spot all kinds of lesser spotted species in situ, and walking trails reveal some of the very best vistas within English borders. To embellish the experience, you can enjoy some of the country’s cosiest pubs and restaurants, many found in picture-perfect locations.
