The cottage features a welcoming wood burner, range oven and a sunny conservatory, and is within easy reach of some of the area’s most popular lakes including Coniston Water and Windermere.

The cottage is situated at the end of a private lane and offers a welcoming lounge with comfortable seating, a warming wood burner and Smart TV, providing an ideal space to unwind in. The kitchen/diner is kitted out with a wide range of equipment and makes a fantastic space for cooking and sharing your favourite meals. The cottage also has a cosy conservatory with far-reaching views. Exploring further, there are two bedrooms, decorated in light soothing tones and offering beautiful countryside views: a pretty en-suite master bedroom with a super-king-size bed, and a lovely double room. There’s also a stylish main bathroom as well as a utility room perfect for storing outdoor equipment. Outside, the garden features a lawn and a relaxing patio with outdoor seating providing an ideal space for al fresco drinks at the end of the day.

The bustling village of Hawkshead is less than a mile north and has a great choice of shops, pubs and restaurants and is home to the Beatrix Potter Gallery. Esthwaite Water is within half a mile, and is known for its trout and pike fishing, and is a popular destination for spotting ospreys. Local attractions include Hill Top, Grizedale Forest and the Ruskin Museum in the thriving town of Coniston (all within 5 miles).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
