Climb up to the first floor of the building to enter the airy apartment. Leave your outerwear in the utility room then find the king-size, double and twin bedrooms, each with its own en-suite shower room, at this level. Venture up another flight of stairs to the bright lounge, with its impressive outlook. Relax on the comfortable seating in here while you watch the Smart TV. Play pool; read your holiday novel or discuss the follow day’s plans. Amble through into the modern kitchen/diner to prepare dinner for everyone then call them all to the table. This holiday apartment comes with two permits for parking in the public car park close by.

Enjoy being part of lively Keswick where you can pause in bars and cafes on your way to the cinema or theatre. Head to the marina at Portinscale, 2 miles away, to try your hand at windsurfing, kayaking or canoeing on picturesque Derwentwater. Book tickets for a round-trip cruise or disembark at one of the jetties along the way to follow paths to famous landmarks, including Lingholm, holiday home of Beatrix Potter. Wander over to Castlerigg Stone Circle, about 2 miles from the apartment, to see the site that dates back to 3,000 BC and to take in far-reaching, panoramic views.
