What can I say? This cottage was simply amazing! Every corner of the place oozed character and the views were simply stunning. From the warm AGA to the power shower. From the well-stocked kitchen to the gorgeous living room. This is a place that we will definitely be returning too in the not too distant future.

Charming and traditional cottage, excellent for hill walkers and those wanting to get away from it all (Local amenities, shops, pubs etc are an hours walk from the cottage - stock up!!) We had a wonderful, relaxing break. Large and secure garden for our dog to play in. Very peaceful and tranquil setting

This property is simply beautiful. It is located in a stunning valley with lovely views and walks straight from the door. The cottage has excellent views very quiet if you want to get away from the rat race of everyday life. We will say to get to the cottage you are required to drive a single track road with no street lights making it hard to drive around. However where you are situated there are some excellent walks

A cozy cottage for a break away from it all. Views were amazing. WiFi is intermittent and no phone signal. The cottage is at the very end of the valley so only one way in and out. The lane is single track with not many passing spots so be prepared!

We had the most fantastic holiday. Peaceful is probably an understatement, and views to die for. The garden is fully enclosed and beautifully kept; our dog also loved the freedom.

The Lake District National Park is a superb choice for a holiday. If you love nature and the great outdoors, the Lake District is one of the UK’s most beautiful holiday destinations. Taking up the lion’s share of the north-western county of Cumbria, the region has been popular with visitors since Victorian times, and it’s the only place to find mountains in England. Peace and tranquillity characterise the wonderful Lake District, with 16 lakes, including England’s longest and deepest, there is much to see and do. Visit Coniston Water, Ullswater, Wast Water and Windermere for just a taste of what you can see in the Lake District National Park.

Small towns like Ambleside, Windermere, Hawkshead, Bowness-on-Windermere and Glenridding all make for great bases from which to relax and unwind between sojourns into the fantastic natural landscapes of the Lake District National Park. Wildlife and bird lovers can spot all kinds of lesser spotted species in situ, and walking trails reveal some of the very best vistas within English borders. To embellish the experience, you can enjoy some of the country’s cosiest pubs and restaurants, many found in picture-perfect locations.
