The lodge was more than adequately equipped for my needs, bed was very comfy and I really appreciated the shower after a day on the fells. Loved being able to sit on the porch and look across to Skiddaw and watch the sheep and chickens doing their thing. My only niggle was the cleaning wasn't as attentive to detail as it perhaps should have been. ORead morether than that I really enjoyed my stay. Hide

A beautiful getaway. Warm, cosy and a stunning location. Good facilities for cooking and spending the evening in after days out exploring. Would definitely stay again (and for longer!)

Compact lodge with everything you need for a comfortable holiday. There is a combi oven but no instructions for use but thankfully we were able find these on the internet. Delightful location to explore the northern fells.

Setting for this cottage was lovely. However the level of cleanliness was not to the standard we expected for this property.

We had a lovely stay at the lodge, with many hours spent looking at the hills and the sheep. It was well equipped for such a compact space, and the bed so comfortable! It was well located for getting about in the North Lakes, and the views were stunning. A really tranquil escape.

Fantastic place to stay. Amazing view, beautiful cottage, especially if doing self catering, this place is really well stocked (pots, pans, utensils etc.).

Perfect! The view from the lodge is amazing. The lodge was clean, comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. The location is good as well, just 20 mins drive to both Keswick and Cockermouth. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful lodge.
