In Bassenthwaite itself (1.5 miles) you’ll find a pub that serves food and real ale, or head to Keswick (6 miles) where there is a wider choice to suit all tastes. Take a tour around the Lakes Distillery (3.5 miles) and taste the produce to decide which ones to stock up on to take home.
