Apartment is smaller than it appears in the advert so felt quite cramped. Not enough room if you have a large dog The shower cubicle leaks from left corner but just need resealed. Location is excellent with some lovely walks nearby and the Flock Inn tearoom just down the lane is an added bonus.

Great base for lots of walks and buses stop just outside, we hardly used our car during our week stay. Added bonus of a great farm cafe nearby, which was appreciated after a long walk.

Excellent in every way. The apartment was very clean, very comfortable and very warm (it snowed whilst there) It is 100 ? yards from a great pub with a very good selection of beer and food, it is also in one if the best spots in the Lakes. The directions for parking were unclear as you are directed to the wrong place. In the recommendations given in the book left in the apartment plenty of places to eat but no mention of the Royal Oak next door?

Well located to cover most of the key attractions associated with The Lake District. Car parking looks tight but actually works very well if you follow the layout in the handbook. To us, the cottage looks either very recently refurbished or incredibly well maintained.
