Excellent comfortable cottage. Well designed space and well equipped. Lots of paths straight from the door, up to the fells or along the valley floor I didn't need to use the car at all. Hourly bus service up and down the valley should you need it. I had a lovely time and would not hesitate to book it again.

Great location, well equipped. Although details said we could use shared garden around the corner at a different building it felt like we would be trespassing if entering gate. Also not that close to cottage.

We had a lovely stay at Great Howe - the cottage was just what we needed- comfortable and well-equipped. To be a bit picky, there's a wardrobe but not much drawer space in the bedroom - we just used our suitcases. Borrowdale really is a lovely valley and Rosthwaite is perfectly placed for walks. It's an easy bus ride into Keswick too.
